Kampala, Uganda's capital is affected by traffic jams throughout the day. Like in the case of Dar es Salaam, we posted on earlier this week, an alternative transportmode to avoid being stuck in traffic are Bodabodas (motorcycle taxis). But how to deal from a urban planning and management perspective with this transportmode? 🤔 Should Bodaboda be considered in the layout of roads? Should exclusive lanes be planned for Bodabodas to make them a safer alternative? Should Bodabodas be formalized like it was intended in Dar es Salaam? What's your take?
